How would you like to find out that Wigan Planners had allowed a soil retaining wall 3m high on your garden boundary, where once the land had been flat with views.
Well this is what has happened at No17 Almond Brook Road. The fences on top of the wall now stop the new residents falling out of their houses!.
This story gets even more interesting when you realise the council were supposed to approve all the boundaries prior to the start of construction.
Even more interesting when you realise how quickly the wall Dorbcrest put up had to be taken down as unsafe. The picture below shows the wall in a 'coming down' phase.
